Christina Quinn

Christina started out her career as a nurse at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and went on to specialise in cardiac intensive care.

Christina started out her career as a nurse at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and went on to specialise in cardiac intensive care. Her passion for education, leadership and OD led to a variety of roles in the education and health and care sector. Christina has been honoured to take on the Directorship of all three NHS Leadership Academies in the South of England (Thames Valley and Wessex, Kent Surrey and Sussex as well as the South West).

Alison's work over recent years has been concerned with driving organisational development and system leadership in the NHS.

As an experienced leadership professional in the NHS, Alison is staunchly committed to the principle that higher standards of organisational and personal leadership deliverer higher quality patient care. She strongly believes that helping leaders to develop keen personal insight into their own talents and leadership styles is key to driving changes in behaviour. She is passionate about improving the quality of the conversations which are difficult at work but ultimately vital to an organisation's effective functioning.

Ali has recently led the work of the Local Leadership Academy National Talent Management Network and will be part of the team establishing the South East Regional Talent Review Board. As a coaching supervisor, accredited coach and mentor trainer, Ali invests her strengths in these areas to develop others.

Ali has been a part of the NHS Leadership Academy since its inception in 2013 and was a member of Strategic Health Authority leadership teams before and so has a long-standing understanding of the shifting leadership landscape in health and care.

Maggie has worked across the healthcare system in acute care, primary care and at a strategic health authority.

Maggie has worked across the healthcare system in acute care, primary care and at a strategic health authority. Maggie has a portfolio career, working as an Associate Dean for the Health Education Thames Valley GP School, and the Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Academy.

Maggie has been responsible for the development of unique and innovative development programmes for example a national leadership programme with Health and Social care leaders, a suite of primary and community care leadership programmes, co-development and design of the national leadership programmes for nurses and a highly successful place-based programme within an ICS.

Maggie has worked with and for some exceptional teams and leaders, seeing the difference that these people have made to patients and carers experiences have made Maggie committed to identifying and developing all staff.

Maggie has been a part of the NHS Leadership Academy since its inception in 2013 and was a member of Strategic Health Authority leadership teams before and so has a long-standing understanding of the shifting leadership landscape in health and care.

Kerry has over 15 years NHS experience in a variety of roles from training, patient safety and governance, to more recently service improvement and leadership.

Kerry has over 15 years NHS experience in a variety of roles from training, patient safety and governance, to more recently service improvement and leadership. Her work has been within both acute and strategic organisations which has provided experience of real operational challenges.

An experienced Virtual and Action Learning Facilitator and mentor, she has also worked within Service Improvement, developing and designing programmes and working with teams to facilitate implementation.

Over the last few years she has taken forward a number of innovative projects and has more recently developed expertise in in creating online learning networks and testing the way we work with the use of technology.

Alison has worked in the NHS for 15 years in a number of organisations including Primary Care Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups before joining the KSS Leadership Academy in 2015.

Annemi started her career in the optical industry for four years. She moved into the utilities sector initially in the role as metering asset management assistant before moving into an internal auditing role.

She moved into the utilities sector initially in the role as metering asset management assistant before moving into an internal auditing role. Before joining the NHS, she worked part-time for a private IT consultancy firm as administrator.

Annemi joined the NHS in 2012 as Leadership Administrator before moving into the role of Leadership Programme Support Officer in 2013.

She currently provides support for Coaching and Mentoring and OD and has recently stepped into a more leading role for Inclusion.

Following a move into the OD & Leadership Project Manager role in early 2018, Alastair has branched out by supporting the GMTS workstream in the Thames Valley and Wessex region, and more recently within Kent, Surrey & Sussex.

Pete started his career at Norwich Union. Over 14 years, he held a variety of roles, from computer programming, to pricing car insurance, to negotiating business acquisitions.

Pete started his career at Norwich Union. Over 14 years, he held a variety of roles, from computer programming, to pricing car insurance, to negotiating business acquisitions. Pete left Aviva (as it had become) and ran his own company for a while before joining a secondary school as Business Manager. He was responsible for leading most aspects of the school back-office, including Finance, Admin and Premises.

In 2015, Pete moved to Southampton to become a School Business Manager in a Special School educating children and young people with profound and multiple learning disabilities. The NHS called in 2017, when he took on the new role of Deputy Manager in the Medical Records department of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. At the start of 2018, he transferred to TVWLA to provide high level Finance, Governance and Business Management.
